There is something surreal about our government-appointed “experts” speaking about the threat to freedom of navigation. The U.S. attacks boats off the coast of Venezuela and imposes a blockade on both Venezuela and Cuba. NATO countries are currently engaged in a campaign of piracy and attacks on Russian ships. Iranian tankers have been hijacked for years. International law is essentially a set of agreements based on mutual constraints, where predictability depends on reciprocity. You cannot exempt yourself from the rules and then expect compliance from the other side. The West has for years acted like rogue states, and they that sow the wind shall reap the whirlwind.

how come you never said any of this while israelis, americans, brits & the west were massacring Palestinian men, women & children in Gaza? or when trump & netanyahu kidnapped Maduro and stole Venezuela's oil? or when they assassinated Iran's leaders, and school school children? "It’s time for the force of the law to prevail over the law of the force!!" indeed! fact is, israel & america absolutely deserve the whooping they're getting, from Iran. the @UN has this strange disease to call for "diplomacy" only when israel & the west are losing the fight. what kind of disease is that?

I have two clear messages: First, to the United States & Israel: It’s high time to end this war that is risking to get out of control, causing immense suffering on civilians, with dramatic effects on the global economy & potentially tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries. Second, my message to Iran: Stop attacking your neighbors, they were never parties to the conflict. The Security Council has condemned these attacks, has ordered them to stop, as it has order to open the Strait of Hormuz. The prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz causes enormous pain for so many people around the world who have nothing to do with this conflict. It’s time for the force of the law to prevail over the law of the force. It’s time for diplomacy to prevail over war. My remarks from the European Council in Brussels: un.org/sg/en/content/…

Iran’s Amazing
Iran’s Amazing@iran_amazing·
Attacking your neighbors? They are literally a legal part of the war because they host the US bases and allow their territory and air to be used to Attack Iran. That is international law. You can’t call yourself neutral while hosting attacks. International law is clear. Hague Convention V (1907): Neutral territory is “inviolable.” Belligerents are forbidden from moving troops or war material across it. That’s the baseline rule. Modern law goes further: a neutral state must not allow its territory or airspace to be used for hostilities. If it does, it risks losing neutrality and being treated as a participant in the conflict. It’s black-letter law.

Orwell's Airstrip One has come to pass. Bombers at RAF Fairford (UK), off to murder Iranian children at Israel's behest. I wonder if the Iranian children are grateful for the UK's role in these 'defensive strikes'? 🤔 Cruel Britannia...

My reaction to seeing our colleague @SweeneySteve being bombed by Israel while reporting in Lebanon is simply rage. Israel are the #1 killers of journalists, children, and medics, fuck their "right" to exist. The planet has a right to exist in peace without this behavior:
Zeinab Al Saffar | زينب الصفّار@ZeinabSaffar

Yesterday the Israeli enemy killed my friend & fellow journalist Mohd Sherri and today injured my friend & fellow correspondent @SweeneySteve This maniacal monstrosity against journalists has to stop. It only demonstrates how low this enemy is. Targeting journalists is a war crime…but alas the Epstein Regime & Co. are above laws. The moment RT correspondent Steve Sweeney and his cameraman were injured in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon.

Saeed Ziad, a Palestinian political analyst on Al Jazeera, has been arrested by Qatar three days ago over his posts supporting Iran. Is this freedom of opinion and expression in Qatar? Or does Qatar officially consider Iran an enemy and the United States and Israel allies-arresting anyone who supports Iran?

So Iran has hypersonic missiles, cluster munitions, the most advanced, war ready and cost efficient drone model on the planet and they've effectively been fighting 6 countries at once for 3 weeks with a yearly budget of $10 billion. and we're supposed to believe they never figured out how to build nuclear weapons? Nonsene. If Iran wanted a nuclear weapon, they'd have one. They don't and never did. Joe Kent's telling the truth, they literally voted against developing them in 2004. "Iran must NEVER get a nuclear weapon" is the "Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction" of 2026. This entire is treasonous and based on a total lie.

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇳🇱🇯🇵 JUST IN: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Japan issue joint statement on the Strait of Hormuz. They condemn Iran's attacks. Call for safe passage. Demand compliance with UN resolutions. But here's what they won't say: The US started this war. Israel escalated it. These same countries host US bases and stayed silent while Gaza burned. Now they're worried about shipping. About oil prices. About their economies. Not about the 3.2 million displaced Iranians. Not about the 168 schoolgirls killed. Not about the families under bombs. They condemn Iran. They don't mention the ones who provoked. Freedom of navigation is important. So is accountability. This statement has neither. The joint statement is loud. The hypocrisy is louder

🇮🇱 Netanyahu went full edgelord: "Jesus Christ has no advantage over Genghis Khan. Because if you are strong enough, ruthless enough, powerful enough, evil will overcome good." Bro… that’s not a flex, that’s a facepalm on steroids. Israel’s already fighting the global optics war, and the PM decides to drop “might makes right, Jesus who?” in the middle of it. PR team must be screaming into pillows right now. Source: @disclosetv
