@catrionateaches Do this if I'm modelling a paper - helps being clear with process and efficient with calculations

Y8 are still struggling with compound area, especially with subtraction. Today I made them write a plan without numbers before they were allowed to do any calculations. It worked pretty well - I need to do this sort of thing more often.

Just worked out childcare costs for nursery &wraparound for when I go back 😭😳😱🤯 really enjoy going to work just to pay for childcare. Ouch! The nursery L will go to is fantastic, but their hrs now 8-4 when they used to be 8-6 &nearly £20 more expensive a day than when B went!
