@SenRonJohnson @realDonaldTrump What I’m hearing is you want to do unconstitutional things to be just like the Democrats.

Clinton did NOT get congressional authorization for Kosovo.
Obama did NOT get congressional authorization for Libya.
But now, Democrats demand that @realDonaldTrump get authorization for Iran?
Democrats/leftists are complete hypocrites.

@DCreyke @Intel_Dork @DubzyOnceAgain I get so excited when I'm reminded this was real and not a fever dream 🤣

Do you know my Luna story? Let me tell you.
I have always had a special place in my heart for black cats, especially ones with green eyes. I have a sad (and quite traumatic story) about my first cat, but that's for another time.
In 2019 I started to contribute things to the nearby animal shelter. Bleach, food, blankets, toys. They knew I was not able to adopt due to my hectic schedule. They let me interact with the pets. They even offered me a job, but I was good with just doing a little volunteer time. They also knew my love for black cats, especially. Many of the workers spoke only Spanish so we used gestures to communicate.
One day in 2020, I got a call at work. They used a Spanish translator who worked with a sign language interpreter via Purple Relay and told me, "Judi! We have a black cat for you. She is DEAF. Because of her age and deafness... we can't put her up for adoption. 🥺 Would you take her? She already knows sign language!"
I get there and was ready to meet my deaf black cat.
Except. She was not a ...cat.
Here was this fat (overweight, not good for her health) Chihuahua looking at me. Her name was Twinky. She looked so sad. Shaking. Scared. If I left her there, she would be put to sleep at the end of the week.
A deaf dog.
I tested her signing skills. SIT. She was already sitting so I felt stupid. EAT. Her ears perked up. I put my hand in my pocket. She came up to me, slowly. Tail tucked in. SIT. She sat. I gave her a treat. OUTSIDE. Nothing. Hmm. POTTY. She looked around.
She did know sign language.
I had to sign papers and then convince Kid 2 we needed to adopt "Twinky" (her name at the time.) She was not fond of having pets, especially dogs, because my ex took our dog Lucy and gave her away during our divorce years (I was fighting cancer at the time).
We met the dog together and Kid 2 named her Luna Lovegood, which was a much better fit. Her sign name is like the "moon."
We get her home, and I had to mentally adjust not having a black cat, but a black dog. She had already won me over.
Then I watched. Wait a minute.
I did some tests. Luna CAN HEAR!!!
Did we get duped?! Turns out there was a miscommunication (no, really? /sarc/) - Luna's previous owner since Luna was born, who passed away, was deaf! That is how Luna learned sign language.
God put her in my life and me in hers.
She wasn't what I asked for, but sometimes God knows better than we do what we need. She has been a BLESSING.
The following year I lost 11 family members and Luna was at my side.
Pictured is the first day we got her (she is now at a healthy weight- and has much more gray now). She was 10 years old in this picture and nearly 12 lbs (she is now about 7 lbs).
