Show your appreciation by paying your teachers when promised on a 3 year overdue contract. We do our jobs and go above and beyond EVERY DAY while your office works from home, messes up our pay and benefits and dodges our calls when we spend hours trying to fix it. Enough.

Things this government could do for teachers on Teacher Appreciation Week:
▶️ Actually pay @WTUTeacher members the money they are owed on schedule
▶️ Require @DC_Charters to spend any matching funds received for teacher raises on teacher raises

In honor of Black History Month, we hosted a screening of a virtual @StepAfrikaHQ performance for our students. Afterwards, our @HendleyES students discussed together what they observed using their dance and music vocabulary. Thank you Step Afrika for your amazing performances!

Today @HendleyES we were with @AuntiekeK learning about markets. We will create our own market next week! I'm so excited to see our students participate in this as part of our #BlackHistoryMonth celebration.
