Nicole Staples, a teacher at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, Alabama, has been arrested on charges of willful abuse of a child under 18 after a viral video surfaced showing her striking a young boy more than 20 times with a belt, yelling obscenities, and physically manhandling him by his hair. The school has since fired her and is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
