Five things you might not know about Women and Children First - They finished the music in six days and the entire album in eight. - Eddie Van Halen played studio keyboards for the first time on And the Cradle Will Rock..., running a Wurlitzer through a Marshall amp with a flanger. - Live, bassist Michael Anthony took the keys on And the Cradle Will Rock... because they didn’t want their guitar hero parked behind a keyboard. - The first vinyl pressing came with a Helmut Newton poster of David Lee Roth shirtless and chained to a fence, chosen specifically to wind people up. - It’s the first Van Halen album with no cover songs, and all four members share equal songwriting credit on every track.
