I feel I must apologise for some deeply offensive actions from my past: •At age 4 , I dressed as Dracula. I now realise this could be very hurtful to anyone who has ever had a blood transfusion. •At age 6, I dressed as a cowboy. This was culturally insensitive to Native Americans, and I can only ask for forgiveness. •At age 12, I dressed as a priest, despite not being ordained. This was clearly an act of religious appropriation. I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture. I am truly sorry, and I will now begin a long period of reflection and atonement for my thoughtless fancy dress choices.
