Not just in rands, but in years of your life.

@DhronasApple They are more likely on forward P/E of 2.4x with their 2.95 billion issued shares and the fact that they'll mostly be producing Cu in concentrate and not cathode. Undervalued definitely, but not less than 1x forward P/E. Lots of risks still to hit to production targets

Continuing on CPR What is their expected production potential? About 10 000t annual production by 2028 (according to rights issue circular - see below): Is that their terminal production number over a 10 year period. Unlikely, because if they stick to a ceiling of 10000t, it would take them 140 years to get through all their resources. So they can to get about 20 000t per annum without running out of copper for 70 years. What is their cost structure. Reading their reports and presentations, it may be anywhere from 5000-7500$/t. Lets say 7500$/t What is their capex plans? From their circular etc, they don’t need new money to get to 10000t pa but need capex money beyond that. Can they go bust in the near term? Unlikely they have 300-400m rands cash on BS from rights issue. So what EBITDA can they do in the medium term at 20000t pa. Lets assume copper price medium term is 15000$/t. Today it is 12500$/t EBITDA = 20000t x (15000$/t price-7500$/t) = 150m USD What is their market cap today 120m USD So that’s less than a 1x future multiple. I like my odds! Most copper producers trade at 10x adjusted multiple. Lots of Margin of Safety. Remember I said lots of risk and a multi year story. Patience required. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!!! (2/2)
