Neon Bird Games

There have been some cool lock-picking mini games over the years, but I really enjoy the one in Starfield. It's like a little puzzle every time.

Here's the thing, KotOR was an RPG released in 2003 for the Xbox. No one was asking for a seemless open world and reactive sci fi epic. No one expected that. They just wanted a good Star Wars RPG. And they got it with flair and gusto from a Bioware that hadn't become a zombie yet. It was not an open world RPG released in 2023 after games like Star Citizen and even (may God forgive me) Cyberpunk 2077 had seemless loading due to SSDs. I can understand console limitations from 2003. I don't accept those same limitations in 2026. Expectations have shifted and instead of devs matching or exceeding them out of love and passion, they make excuses, bicker, and blame the people who bought their games for not enjoying the rubbish work they created. Just make a good game, and if you can't, stop making games.

RUMOR | Jeff Grubb has heard that Fable has been pushed internally. “I'll say that I've heard that Fable has been pushed internally. That doesn't mean that it's coming out next year. Apparently they're still trying to get it out this year, but they are worried about the launch of GTA6. And so if it's getting delayed beyond the release of GTA6, that could push it into December, which might make it a prime candidate to get delayed into 2027.”
