@charlie_grafton Oh, they care. They care enough that they're actively trying to make it harder to repair older vehicles in order to push owners out of old cars. Except the owner of the 15 year old Merc isn't buying a new one, they're just pushing them into a used Lexus.

Historically, when I make clothes, I do it purely off vibes. No math, no sketch, just see it in my head, cut pieces and assemble. Wood is annoyingly hard and can not be smooshed or stretched to work.

I'm so irritated with prices for coffee tables that I am in serious danger of saying fuck it and designing my own. I can see it in my head, I know I can build it, but I can't do the math for it and wood is not forgiving like fabric is.

TV's James May urged me to bid on this Toyota Century. I wavered because there seemed to be a lot of interest and I assumed bidding would soar into the teens. But no. Someone got a bargain. And it wasn't me. Bah!

@LUDENClassics My friend has a manual swapped and tuned 360 Modena with a healthy number of miles. Basically he made it a 360 Challenge Stradale and dear god, it is INCREDIBLY GOOD

I looked up quantity for him, but he refused to believe we never serviced the car...
