Vivek Ramaswamy just reposted this article where he doubles down on closing Ohio Universities, to eliminate global Ohio engineering competition to benefit India and H1Bs. He wants to close the following Ohio Engineering and STEM Universities :
University of Akron: Ranked #1 Globally for the Polymer Science and Plastics Engineering Program.
Kent State University: Recognized for Aerospace and Mechatronics Engineering Program. Engineering Program ranks 46th in the nation.
Central State University: Focus on STEM and research in the global tech-driven market. Formed as a 1890 Land-Grant institution, and known for the John W. Garland College of Engineering, Science, Technology, and Agriculture.
These 3 Universities collectively employ 20,000 Ohioans.

Kent is the largest employer in Portage county and one of the largest employers in the state overall. Ironically, also one of the places Acton needs to do well in to have a chance at winning and Vivek is making it easier by just talking.

one of the media's major failures is not questioning the president seriously. if/when he insults a reporter they sit quietly like frightened children hoping not to be scolded. if he replies to a question by deflecting it, ask the question again; ask follow-up questions. UK journalists are skilled at this. without a courageous press, any authoritarian will walk all over them & hold them in contempt. journalism isn't supposed to be about being "liked"--rather, representing ordinary citizens who do not have access to persons of power.
