Real, non contrarian take: Tubi is the best streaming service. It’s free, ads are minimal, and it has some absolutely amazing movies/shows. It doesn’t feed you slop. Some real deep cuts as well as mainstream stuff. Like, I’m watching an old documentary about 90s ska punk rn

The problem with comics is that when people say "comics," they really mean the Big Two. I implore everyone to go check out a webtoon, some manga, a creator-owned book, or a crowdfunded series.

The problem with comic books is that you can't fix them. They're a fundamentally broken medium, right down to their foundation. Characters who can't grow. Stories that can't change. Plot threads that can never resolve. You could remove the "wokeness" and it still wouldn't change anything. It's time to let them die.
