If 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence in their lifetime, should we be talking about how many men are responsible? Not all men but TOO MANY!!!

I remember growing up being told that being on your period shouldn't stop you from doing anything. And of course, technically that’s true. Most of us grew up with those tampon commercials from the 80s and 90s - women in white leotards playing tennis, riding horses, doing cartwheels... all while happily bleeding. Not entirely sure why it had to be white specifically on the days we might leak, but there you go. The message was supposed to be empowering: your period won’t hold you back. And in many ways, it was. But there was another message hiding inside it too: just get on with it. Don’t talk about it. Don’t show it. Don’t complain about it. Because period blood was still something to hide. Something embarrassing. Something we weren’t supposed to mention out loud. The truth is: being on your period can be brutal. Cramps. Bloating. Hormones. Fatigue. Feeling like someone punched you in the stomach while your emotions are on a rollercoaster. Yes, women run companies, raise children, compete in Olympic Games and run entire households while on their periods. We do it all the time. But let’s not pretend we’re feeling amazing while doing it. Recently Amber Glenn, a U.S. Olympic figure skater, spoke openly about competing while on her period and some of the responses were basically: stop complaining and get on with it. And honestly that reaction says a lot. For decades women felt the need to prove we could do everything men could - even while bleeding. And yes, we can. But maybe we’ve reached a point where we can also say something else out loud: it’s hard sometimes. Periods are normal. Talking about them should be too. And empathy shouldn’t disappear just because something is common. Because if there’s one thing history has shown us, it’s that women have spent centuries proving their strength. Maybe now we can also allow ourselves a little understanding along the way 💗

HOW LONG TO KEEP IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS 1 Month – Utility bills: Keep them for about one month unless needed for tax purposes or warranty claims. 1 Year: – Bank statements – Credit card statements – Insurance policies – Warranty documents 7 Years: – Tax returns and supporting documents – Financial records – Medical records Forever: – Birth Certificates – Marriage Licenses – Military Records – Social security Cards – Estate Planning documents – Car Titles Most families end up with stacks of paperwork because no one is really sure what’s important to hold onto. Don't just keep the documents, keep them organized and easy for someone else to find. If something ever happens to you, your family should know exactly where important records are and how to access them.

If you shave your pubic hair right before sex, your skin may have tiny cuts and micro-tears. This can increase the risk of irritation, infections, and higher susceptibility to STIs.

The fact that healthcare workers don’t have free health insurance is actually insane. We are the system… but not protected by it? Healthcare workers should have free health insurance. Period.

A question I think NEEDS to be answered. If a person that communicates through sign language is missing a finger, would that be considered an accent or a speech impediment?

Back in the day having 13 kids was normal, now it’s weird. Did y’all ever stop to think why women aren’t having 8+ plus kids anymore. Think about it…

Here’s the weird part: Scratching actually feels… good. Sweet, even. Like your body is tricking you into giving in. But it’s a trap. Every scratch makes it worse, spreads the irritation and feeds the cycle. It’s addictive, frustrating and cruel all at once.

Mites can survive briefly on clothes, bedding and towels. Wash everything in hot water, dry on high heat and seal items you can’t wash in a plastic bag for a few days. Vacuum furniture and carpets. Treating your skin without cleaning your environment is a waste of time.
