Cardano is actually in a very strong position. ADA has maintained relevance through multiple market cycles, and the ecosystem has a solid technical and governance foundation. Ironically, the fact that Cardano DeFi is still early gives us meaningful upside. When we create growth, the market will notice.
The key to building a successful DeFi ecosystem on Cardano is not chasing short-term metrics or narratives, but building protocols that align incentives and encourage steady, compounding growth.
What we need are real users, real activity, and sustainable economics. If we block out the noise, reset, and work deliberately, Cardano can grow the right way.
For that to happen, ecosystem builders need stronger collaboration with the founding entities. I have seen a genuine effort from @IOGroup to understand the current state of the ecosystem and the practical bottlenecks facing builders. 🙏
I would like to see a similar level of engagement from @Cardano_CF. I understand that the Foundation’s focus is long-term institutional adoption and large partnerships, but the experience, loyalty, and knowledge of existing builders should not be undervalued or taken for granted.
The future of web3 should be about creating pluralistically beneficial economic systems where institutions and retail can participate on more equal footing. Without that balance, we are not fulfilling Cardano’s broader vision.
The fact of the matter is that, keeping ecosystem builders at arm’s length has not produced the outcomes we want. We are not the "other" we are in this together. We all have skin in the game. Community members, builders, and founding entities need to work together more closely if Cardano is going to reach its potential.
Ecosystem growth is the only path that leads to positive price action for $ADA and a sustainable liquid staking reward program. This will benefit everyone. Let's all work together to grow the ecosystem.🙏
