I was a dishwasher at a high end fusion restaurant. Not a lot of people, but constant dishes due to like 5 course meals. It’s certainly not complex. You’re just non stop loading glass and plate racks. Was pretty chill, especially back in my degen phase and I just smoked before shift and during a break and had headphones in. I work a nice corporate job now, yet there’s an aspect that’s much more stress. Would be my go-to job if there was a massive job wipe recession.

Our dishwasher is one of the highest-paid positions in the restaurant. If a line cook calls out, you always have 2-3 that can cover. If a server calls out, others can take more tables. If a dishwasher calls out, the entire restaurant is at a standstill. It's easily an 80K per year job in CA.

Why does LA provide a free lawyer to a tenant but not to a landlord? A tenant stops paying rent and gets a free lawyer to fight an eviction. A landlord doesn't receive his rent and needs to file an eviction out of his own funds. Does this sound fair and equitable to you?
