SPECIAL REPORT: New survey results from @PeopleforEd show that the vast majority of schools in Ontario do not have the necessary supports & resources needed to properly implement de-streaming! De-streaming has been a priority for years, as many reports have shown that streaming students in grades 9 & 10 disproportionately disadvantages Black students, Indigenous students, students w/ special needs & disabilities, & students from lower income families. Yet, only 20% of #OntEd high school principals say they have enough support to implement de-streaming.
