Finally getting lunch. Today has been a monster. But I was thinking, while sitting here... You know how many people claim to be depressed because they, "have no purpose in life" and yet they never once help a fellow human out? The spend all day in a "me" world, they have no fellowship at all, amd everything in their life is transactional. They trade expensive dates for sex, they trade cash for car rides, they ask friends to split the bill at lunch down to the penny... Their entire lives are in this weird situation where they never receive, nor give grace and gratitude... It's no wonder they are miserable. The greatest moments of your life will come when someone who was absolutely hopeless looks at you and smiles and says "thank you" and YOU ARE MISSING IT! So if you have no purpose, go find one. Go volunteer at the animal shelter, help a friend paint their house, volunteer at the nursing home just to spend time with lonely elder folks. GO GIVE BACK and see how quickly your purpose grows. The reason you don't have purpose is because you are too busy serving YOUR wants to even realize there is a whole world out there that would love to have you in it.

This dude has messaged me multiple times now about this card.... every time he tells me what it is "worth" and then lowballs. I'm not moving a cent. Not one penny. It will sit for decades before I move. I have it listed at $99.95 for a 4 relic card numbered to 4. Of which I have sold several others like it of other players. He essentially wants it for 15% of asking and thinks that is ok to message me about.🤷‍♂️

I financed a $104k Cybertruck. Why? Because $104K invested at 8% over 5 years (financed term) earns $49k in interest. The fincing charge of the truck at 1.9%? About $6k total.... So by financing that truck, I make $43k more than burning the $104k Why buy a $104k truck you ask? Because I needed tax write-offs instead of sending it to Uncle Sam. So that $104k allowed me a bonus depreciation of 100% for the tax year. So I saved $30k in income taxes by buying the truck and putting it into service. You have to understand there are levels to the game when you aren't living paycheck to paycheck.

A guy I know financed a $75,000 truck. $1,100/month payment. $1,100 invested at 8% for 30 years? $1,640,000. Some status symbols cost seven figures.

If someone told me what I am about to tell you a year ago, I would have called it a fairytale. I went to church this morning with my friend Joe. He had invited me months ago and I called him last night to ask if Holly and I could attend with him today. He said he would be honored. He said Bible Study was at 10 and service was at 11 and he sent me the address to Victory Baptist Church in Bristol. When we arrived this morning, we were greeted by so many people and everyone was asking if we were "Joe's friends". We felt welcomed immediately. They led us to the Bible Study group and the leader said, "We have studying Psalms". The same Psalms that led me through the doors of a church for the first time in nearly 3 decades, a week ago. I felt that was a sign I was in the right place. Through the rest of the service, I felt like it was time. Time to commit. Time to turn my life over to him. But when the alter call came, I couldn't go. I just didn't feel worthy, as I have wrestled with for forever. All those people. So pretty and neat. So I didn't go. After the service, Joe asked me to speak with his Pastor, who wanted to thank us for coming, and I said I was happy to meet him. And then it happened. He thanked me for coming and he asked if I knew that Jesus died for my sins. I responded that I have been working on understanding, and then he shook me to my core. You see, I know 1 verse from the Bible by heart. Only 1. I remembered it from my youth because of a song. Romans 10:9 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." That's it. That's the 1 verse I know. I know what others say, but I can't quote it. I don't know where it is at. But I know that one. His next words to me? He asked me if I knew Romans and he recited that verse. The only verse I knew by heart, word for word. That was my proof. That was my evidence that today was the day. I stopped him mid verse as I broke down in tears and asked him to pray with me and he led me to the Alter with Joe and several others that I'm not yet sure of their name. Today, I confessed with my mouth, the Lord Jesus.... and I came up a saved man. Today was the day. Today. It happened. I have no idea what to do next or where it goes.... but today, I can say that thank God, I am not where I once was..... but I am NOW where I am. To everyone that has worked on me for years now. Thank you. Thank you for not giving up even when my words were hateful. I didn't know what I didn't know. I still don't, honestly.... But I am not that man today. Today was a great day.
