Awarded biennially by the @OUHealth Harold Hamm Diabetes Center, the $250,000 prize — the largest of its kind in the world — recognizes scientific advances that move us closer to a cure for diabetes. Dr. Ziegler’s pioneering work in predicting and delaying the onset of Type 1 diabetes has transformed lives and redefined what’s possible in translational medicine.
