A very sunny Hapa Zome session today, fortunately we have lots of shade in the woods. The children showed great teamwork as they created their own pieces by hammering the leaves and petals into fabric. #owpsforestschool @OWPSchool @OWPSturtles @OWPS_chameleons

We had our first Forest School birthday today! We sang happy birthday around our seating circle. We also listened to the story, ‘Spike’s Best Nest’ and made our own animal dens. @OWPSchool @OWPSturtles @OWPS_chameleons

Today was Group 5’s first session. They did some exploring, learnt the rules and played a callback game. They chose to build, make leaf/bark rubbings, bug hunt and make necklaces from elder. #owpsforestschool @OWPSchool @OWPSturtles @OWPS_chameleons

Nene Park Trust came to build a bug hotel with some of our year 4 children today! We are looking forward to seeing what bugs come to stay! @owpsnightingale @owps_nighthawks
