A fantastic turn out for our Transition Evening! Thank you to everyone who attended.

Transition Evening presentations begin at 6pm. Please arrive before then and head to the correct classroom for the year group your child is moving into. We shall see you shortly!

Halfway through our first transition day and everything has gone well so far. The children are working hard learning all about what it will be like in their new class in September.

It is House Captains voting day today at OWPS. Good luck to all the Year Five children who have put themselves forward for this important role in our school.

A brilliant morning at Nene Park Academy for the children in UKS2 to compete against one and another. OWPS, Woodston and Nene all competed in several track and field events. OWPS came out on top with lots of children earning gold, silver and bronze. Well done team Wistow!

The Foundation Stage are after some volunteers to help with some gardening and general tidying of their garden. We are hoping to do this on Wednesday 10th July. If you are able to help please contact the office FAO Ms Porter. Thank you 🧑‍🌾👨🏼‍🌾👩‍🌾

Well done to our football teams for getting to the finals at the POSH ground on the last day of term. The boys were in a tough group but fought hard in all their games. The girls won the tournament and didn't concede a goal! What a fantastic season for both teams.

We plan for the disco to be outside today. Children might need an additional layer. A jumper rather than a coat would be ideal. Please drop them off through the main playground gate and collect from the back of the hall.

If any of our ‘new’ Foundation Stage families are following us, just a heads up about our Transition meeting on 11th June. FOWS will be selling 2nd hand uniform at £1 per item. CASH ONLY.

Good luck to all our Year Six pupils starting their SATs today. Lots of them have arrived early to enjoy a shared breakfast before we start with the first test.

Today was Group 5’s first session. They did some exploring, learnt the rules and played a callback game. They chose to build, make leaf/bark rubbings, bug hunt and make necklaces from elder. #owpsforestschool @OWPSchool @OWPSturtles @OWPS_chameleons

Everyone can wear their own clothes tomorrow as long as it includes something matching their house colour. FOWS are asking for gift donations they can use at this year's summer fayre.

OWN Trust is 5 years old! We had an assembly this morning to celebrate this special birthday and the school has been gifted five beautiful books for us to enjoy!

The mixed football team won 1-0 away at Winyates today. A really tight game and the boys and girls showed some real resilience to get the win! ⚽️
