@grenussy in literary criticism we have logos, pathos, and ethos, not just pathos. All three of these are of equal measure on the triangle, pathos is not the apex of it

@grenussy If Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Note were as inconsistent with their rules as JoJos is, they would fall apart. For those stories, yes, logic and plot are important FOR the emotion they want to evoke.

@grenussy JoJo's Bizarre Adventure plays fast and lose with its logic, making rules only to break them constantly. But JoJo's emotion comes from somewhere other than those rules, so it's fine. Stands being wildly inconsistent doesnt make the story any less interesting

Truly such a low point for Matt, both throwing the baton at her and that patronizing "What happened to you?" Dex traumatized Karen. He tortured her emotionally and psychologically. Would love to see Matt try to tell Jessica "Hey you shouldn't have killed Kilgrave, that's wrong."

if the born again team made an ironfist show they’d have colleen killed in the first 8 minutes so that danny has something to be sad about. because that’s storytelling. killing off the second supporting character to the main in the reboot is a great idea that people will love.
