@DiabeticDadUK It's what Amy always used to say in presentations about AndroidAPS (and OpenAPS), that lows were never as bad as before, in frequency, and ability to treat.

I've been discussing hypo treatments while on hybrid closed loop. HCL is excellent for improving time in range and for reducing spikes for me. I've also noticed how much easier it is to treat a low. The pump already reduces basal (or suspends) before a hypo, meaning I only need a small glucose hit for most lows (not all). I've become more relaxed about hypos since using HCL. Less panic eating, fewer fridge rampages, I've even treated by making a sweet latte ☕️ and that was enough. Reduced anxiety is a great thing, and if HCL offers that to you and nothing else, then grasp it. #GBDoc #Type1Diabetes

@markrhysdavies I shake my head at all the red light running cyclists, it's idiotic and it gets us law abiding cyclists a bad name.

Before I rant, I 🚴🏼 a bit. Just had some verbal with a guy who was cycling towards me, the wrong way down a one way street. All because I shook my head 🤦‍♂️ Tried to deny it & referred to my car being the issue 🙄. Own your actions, rather than giving the chance to stereotype.

@OceanTragic Sorry, I don't know which particular streets have been affected, but I know parts of Welford Road, Queen's Road, and Edward Road have had some flooding.

Roads in and around Clarendon park, Leicester are currently streams of water. Cars driving through these are causing waves that are flooding houses

@rothleyweather @Official_WXUK @UKWX_ @convectivewx Thanks! I initially thought it was going to bypass us to the south, however it looks liked it back-built and expanded north over Leicester. The whole thing was very slow moving.

Stationary cell over Leicester causing lots of flash flooding. Torrential rain, gusty winds and lightning associated with it. Here was its arrival @Official_WXUK @UKWX_ @rothleyweather @convectivewx
