Sen. Nate Blouin, @NateForUtah, is a disgrace to Utah. Not only does he advocate for illegally impeding the Federal Government, he is now trying to raise the minimum wage in Utah to $20/hr. This would be the largest hike of minimum wage in the country at a 176% increase. The effects would be devastating for our economy. Research shows partial pass-through to consumers—e.g., modest price hikes (around 2-8% in affected industries from smaller increases), but a $20 level could amplify this, particularly in Utah's competitive economy. This man is actively trying to destroy our state. He is currently making a bid to be the Democratic candidate in Utah's 1st congressional district in the 2026 U.S House elections. We cannot let this happen. Please help me spread the word. Nate is not fit for Utah.

Exactly! Mimicry is a form of flattery. When someone tries to claim the origin as their own, it's a problem. Wearing a kimono, a sombrero, or any other cultural symbol is not theft. It's the same thing with food. I love seeing people try American food, and I loved eating at "American" restaurants in Japan because it was fun to see how Japanese people adapted our cuisine. People need to stop being so stuck up. Is it a holy symbol? No? Then why are we getting upset?
