@DT2ComicsChat Making Phantom Menace about kid Ani hurts the prequel pacing so much. From 2 to 3 is pretty good, but from 1 to 3 there is a LOT we don't see in ways that just hurts it. If Episode 2 was the first, then we could have had more space before 3 to flesh them out.

The lightsaber fights honestly were the highlights of the PT. When we first see Maul and he goes at it with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, that was awesome.
What sucked more was the character development and the pacing. And Anakin and Padme being in love because the plot needed them to be, not because it was developed organically.

@DT2ComicsChat Exactly. I'm sure there is some decent stuff in ddba, but I am so tired of it all, so for me dd ends at season 3. I'm not watching this stuff until I hear it's actually good, and even then I don't bother half the time cause I don't like disneyy marvel.

It's more than one reason,
but to put it simply, with superhero content, they have completely lost the presumption of innocence.
They are no longer 'innocent until proven guilty.'
They are assumed to be 'guilty until proven innocent.'
So, we just assume that stuff is Woke™ now, and have to be convinced otherwise.
And even if it's not Woke™?
The other part is that we just don't care. Liking superhero content has become a fight. And for what? To support a bunch of people that hate fans? Why?

@CinemaSupreme I think something I am beginning to notice is a lot of movies are using CGI as a filter sort of, and glossing everything with it, even practical suits. So the effects look worse cause theyre spread thinner than they used to be. Possibly.
