And almost every one of them said the same thing: "Thank you for telling the truth. We may have our issues with the government - but that's our business, not something for outside forces to exploit. We reject the target being placed on us." Whatever disagreements exist internally, one thing was clear: dignity and sovereignty matter deeply to ordinary Iranian people.
