just saw project hail mary (again) and there was a kid sat in front of me that straight up acted out this entire scene with rocky and grace 🥺🥺 they remained seated but did the whole hand gestures omg incredible things are happening in the film and in the movie theater itself

Project Hail Mary shows how easy it is to make movies people want to see. Just have a great story, perfect casting, and perfect directing, and people will love it. Simple.

Gosling is very good in PHM. It’s a real movie star performance. The role does not work without a fantastic actor miraculously making an Andy Weir character seem distinct and unique. Matt Damon does this in The Martian too

The holodeck type thing they have set up on the project Hail Mary ship is genuinely sickening to look at. Was horrified at the scenes where they watched movies on it.

Watched Project “Hail Mary” today and loved it. I read the book about 6 months ago and really enjoyed the story line. The movie was fantastic over all and followed the book pretty closely. THANK YOU HOLLYWOOD for not making another rehashed super hero movie.

Snuck into the @BFI IMAX on the weekend and was blown away by how the 70mm IMAX print looked and sounded..
Such a buzz seeing a totally full cinema just all locked in. Very special memory.

Took the kids to see “Project Hail Mary” tonight.
Both the 11 & 14 year old LOVED this movie, as did I. Has a feel kind of like “E.T.”. It’s appropriate for kids, but too young will be bored. Great movie!

This is a threat of war crimes. Using civilian suffering as coercion for an unrelated military object violates multiple levels of the DoD Law of War Manual and the laws of war. Distinction, necessity, and proportionality all come into play. This is a Russian mentality. Barbaric.

@KenKirtland17 The best thing the book does that the movie doesn't is really show the scientific method and reasoning. Its an ode to problem solving.
Even small things like fringe thoughts on why Rocky's biology is a certain way or how they could have X amount of progression etc
