@On3 @JoeTipton I made fun of Oates for Bediacko. This is equally as ridiculous. Once you’ve played G-League and failed: GET A FREAKING JOB LOSER.

@ConcacafEdgar It's almost like the big europeans nations have the best development infrastructure, they've been poaching from eachother for years.

Brazil is now recruiting just like Argentina has been along with other top nations. No problem here but somehow when the US does it, seems like everyone has a problem with it 🤣

🚨 JUST IN: Bryan Bugarin, considered the biggest talent in La Fabrica, is now in talks to play for Brazil! It could turn into a new "Nico Paz case", where a player plays in Spain his whole life, but because Spain decides never to call him up, he plays for a South American country. @diarioas

@usmntaut This is why I'm annoyed that MLS Next Pro is considered "professional" and a "second tier" it's a reserve developmental league and should be treated as such with age based requirements/limits of rosters and match day squads.

This is Austin II’s starting lineup tonight. Not a single player under the age of 20 and only 2 that are even ‘05s. The bench isn’t much better, only 3 players born in ‘07 or later. Austin has major issues with their development system.

@ProspectsUsmnt If were gonna bring back guys from europe who are "in their prime years". The goal should be to push U22 players towards greener pastures in Europe (McGlynn, Luna, Wollf, Quinn Sullivan etc.) instead of trying to lock them down on unsellable contracts.

Obviously isn’t going to help his chances with the National Team, but that ship has been sailing anyway. We have to start talking though about how MLS is starting to gobble up USMNT players and isn’t selling many American players abroad. Has MLS tangibly improved from it? Nope.

🚨🇨🇦 EXCL: Toronto FC send official bid to Norwich for Josh Sargent worth $18m fee. Negotiations underway as #NCFC are in talks over deal details. Sargent could head to the MLS soon.

@UnderratedUSMNT Paredes has largely played on the left throughout his career. and yeah I realized who "hansen" was but he usually doesn't use that last name.

@PAYCHECKMAFIA Kristoffer Lund Hansen, got called up a couple times and plays for Köln. And they both play on the right so I just added either.

@ProspectsUsmnt Losing/Not Getting Nene would be alleviated by Poch actually calling upon Caleb Wiley and John Tolkin regularly in Jedi's absence, but alas. (Also Malik Tillman was in this exact situation 3 years ago and now he's a key player)

This quote is a tough look for the USMNT. Maybe the quote in context wasn't as bad as the throwaway line, but this sounds like he's not interested in the USA, regardless of that Germany is his first option. The other thing people need to consider is that some of these players eligible for the USA just have no real connection to the USA. So in some instances that's not a challenge to them representing the USA and they'll gladly immerse themselves and learn more about a heritage they have that they haven't really explored much yet. In other instances they just aren't interested and they're essentially estranged to their US roots and plan to be estranged going forward. Jeremy Toljan is an example of this.

Nathaniel Brown 🇩🇪🇺🇸 on his international future… “There was already contact (from U.S. Soccer), but I was born and grew up in Germany and I have already played with the U-21s.” #usmnt #sge

Fulham may not have signed anyone yet this summer but they have absolutely nailed it in terms of keeping key talent & future talent. Keeping players like King, Ridgeon & De Fougerolles shows the club are planning for the future. 🖤🤍 ⚫⚪#FFC
