@pompanoj @CoachQ88 Agree 100%. I have been advocating for years to have them wear helmets and pads and adjust the rules to be more consistent with the men. There are some of the good ole' gals network that would rather the sport be discontinued than modernize it.

Glad the entire lax community got to see how bad women’s lacrosse rules are. It’s like that almost every game. Every ref interprets rules differently and call it different and where. The rule book changes weekly via email. the sport needs to change but somehow keeps getting worse

@davepeabody Being the commissioner of an NCAA D2 league that has sponsored WLAX since 2013-14, the people that oversee the rules in that sport have no clue what they are doing. It is always awful and the refs and teams rarely know the rules themselves!

UNC just lost a goal in the national championship game because the player’s foot touched the crease well AFTER the goal, while she was celebrating. That’s…batshit insane. Absolute lunacy, that rule. #NCAALax

This woman shows up a little later than everyone to the graduation ceremony. Rather that stand out of the way or take a seat way in the back she decodes she is going to stand at the rail in front of everyone and she is not sorry about it. The police were even called and they are not doing anything about it. Why do people think they are better than other people? Why do some act like they have zero respect for others? Would you ever do this? Ever? Do you think the police should have hauled her away?

@NILnotNLI D2 and D3 schools adding sports or increasing roster sizes just to keep enrollment up is also not a solution. The ROI on student-athletes is way less than general students and when your atudent population is 75-80% athletes you are on a downward spiral.

OK or not OK? This past week: • ​The NCAA nabbed two D1 schools where Basketball players were involved in point shaving. • ​One of the top Football transfers most likely lost his eligibility due to betting on games. • ​The Big 12 sold out to private equity. • ​The NCAA sold out to TV inventory. • ​At NCAA schools, staff are being laid off. Academic programs are being eliminated. Tuition is skyrocketing. Mandatory fees? Skyrocketing. Yet simultaneously, so is athletics spending. • ​16 NCAA Olympic sports programs have been discontinued (9 of them in Tennis). • ​The Big Ten distributed over a BILLION dollars to member schools, yet many of them will still rely on taxpayer and forced student subsidies. ​But, according to the Bilasrati, everything's perfectly OK in college sports because TV ratings are apparently up. ​No, things are not OK.

Watching The Masters very limited advertising, tiny number of elite sponsors, wondering if/why not the NFL/NBA/MLB do the same thing. Far less commercials with far fewer sponsors/advertisers paying huge premiums for that right. Money could be same/better, viewers would love it.

So ESPN and the NCAA can coordinate the start time for 4 Sweet 16 games in the WBB tourney so there will be little to no overlap and only 1 starting at 10:00 pm ET, which is being played on the west coast. The same could easily be done for the MBB tourney.

@mmbirmingham @ochodrinko85 That may be correct on the women’s side but more than one First Four on the men’s side has made the Sweet 16. In fact I believe VCU made the Final Four from the First Four one year.

Genuine question: has there ever been a legitimate upset in the Women’s March Madness tournament? I don’t mean a 7 beating a 2 in the round of 32, I’m talking about a powerhouse school falling to a mid-major. Every time I check the scores UConn is up by 6 touchdowns at minimum. I think they need to implement a mercy rule at the very least.

@coachalexpopp The men need to go to 4 quarters like every other level of basketball in the world. The women’s college game is sooooo much better because of this change…oh and the advancement rule would make sense, too.

@TheOskeePowWow I assume you are referring to men’s basketball. If so, the most logical thing is to go to quarters like the women did several years ago. Almost every game is done within 2 hours. Book it!!

The average length of a college basketball game is 2 hours and 15 minutes. Every major tv network: let's schedule games every 2 hours so you can miss your favorite team play for at least 10 minutes.

My wife hasn't initiated or agreed to to sex in 4 months. She keeps saying she's too tired from work and kids. I am feeling like a roommate in my own house. We are married for 6 years, we have two kids under 5. I work 7am-8pm, go through traffic + an overtime to cover the bills for rent and school fees. I come home exhausted too, but I still try to connect with her. I cook sometimes, help bathe the kids. But she'd say she's drained, and sex is last thing on her mind. I have tried talking to her about it, she simply told me she understands my stress, but there has been no effort from her side. She's not even open to scheduling. HS players…. Ready to play in college? Here is D1 program in Charlotte, NC today. 40 degrees and raining. Cold, wet and damp! On top of that, there game field is not done so they are practicing on a softball field. It’s all about toughness and doing whatever it takes! Yea, they have an indoor facility, which they were already in earlier in the morning @Queens_Baseball @Coach_JHendrick @DirtBroUSA
