@SooperMexican As a middle school teacher for 25 years, I can concur with this. The pressure to hand out passing grades to everyone was already quite back 4 years ago when I had to retire. They were pushing out the best teachers who wanted discipline and demanded high standards. I have stories

Education is imploding right now. Teachers have given up. They’re just handing out passing grades. Bad parents will take them happily, good parents will press for better education. The majority of graduates will be worthless consumers who can’t do math, had ai write their essays and can’t look you in the eye. Dark times ahead.

They’re not women, they’re just perverts

There are certain globally widespread cultural practices that should never be a part of American culture: 1. Treatment of women as chattel property with no decision making in their own lives. 2. The practice of husbands lightly beating their wives as a means of justified encouragement. 3. Mandatory female genital mutilation. 4. Using subterfuge and violence to impose your religious beliefs on others. 5. Mistreating dogs. 6. Young boys as objects of sexual gratification for older men. 7. Tribal loyalties trumping the Constitution and the rule of law. When people from such cultures come to the USA, they do not assimilate to American norms. They expect US to assimilate to THEIR norms. I challenge anyone to tell me what is morally incorrect or unjust about what I just wrote.

@El__Bohemio Have had two cats with diabetes. One we kept alive for 10 years with insulin shots. At some point, he would remind us if we forgot...because he always got a treat!

Executive assistant update He went downhill quickly on the drive. There was no way he would have made it to my other options (Pittsburg or Columbus) Stable for now. Verdict: Diabetes with a bit of resulting kidney damage. Treatable. Heart condition. Also treatable. The problem is both of them in conjunction. His system cannot be quickly flushed out without risk of drowning in fluids or cardiac arrest. So, he goes to a veterinary ICU unit tomorrow for a gradual approach. He is not out of the woods yet and we may lose him. However, if the fluid buildup can be alleviated, he'll be fine. He will just require a special diet and some meds. In practical, less emotional matters, he owes me $10,000.00 so far. 😂 (He's worth it)
