@TheFranchiseQB @LanceTHESPOKEN All the elite players you listed will be gone by 9. Off chance Styles or Tate are there. In which case, draft Tate.
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN Elite+Premium Position: Reese, Tate
Elite Talent only: Styles, Love,
Premium positions only (QB, Edge, WR, OT): Mendoza, Bailey, Bain, Tyson, Lemon, Mauigoa, Fano, Freeling
In my opinion you draft:
1. Players that are both 2&3
2. Elite talent
3. Premium positions
English

@TheFranchiseQB @LanceTHESPOKEN Did you just say Love at 3?? I mean dude…
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN Here’s a move I’d support.
Trade 9th & 29th pick to AZ
For
3rd pick & Marvin Harrison Jr
Chiefs select Reese or Bailey (if they grade him as elite) or even Love at #3
English

@TheFranchiseQB @LanceTHESPOKEN So now maybe Bailey?? There are precisely 0 edges that will be drafted in the late first or 2nd that have the movement skills or production of Bain and Bailey. If there were, they’d be going earlier. You want to take a bet on another Karlaftis, go right ahead.
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN You can find nearly the same guy at pick 29 & 40. Why not use an elite pick on an elite player? They’ll probably end up picking 2 or 3 pass rushers with the 9 picks. This class is deep with edge guys. But really just 1 elite guy in Reese. Maybe Bailey?? Add elite talent!!
English

@TheFranchiseQB @LanceTHESPOKEN You are looking at this entirely wrong. The only question to ask is on second and third down can one of these players disrupt the quarterback better than what we currently have? The answer is in emphatic YES. Did you watch the Chiefs on third down last year?!
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN Does it look like to you we should take an edge at 9? To me the data says NO!! Elite edge players are gone by pick 5.
English

@TheFranchiseQB @LanceTHESPOKEN Also anyone can make a list of players that support their argument while omitting players that don’t.
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN Recent top edge/pass rushers:
Abdul Carter 3rd
Will Anderson Jr. 3rd
Travon Walker 1st
Aidan Hutchinson 2nd
Kayvon Thibodeaux 5th
Edge picks 6-32
Mykel Williams 11th
Tyree Wilson 7th
Dallas Turner 17th
Jared Verse 19th
Elite Edge talent rarely falls past the 5th pick
English

@TheFranchiseQB @LanceTHESPOKEN You do realize the Chiefs pick at 9, correct?

@MySportsUpdate @PatMcAfeeShow Statistically this would mean 26 GMs think Simpson if the best QB in the draft. The Raiders just happen to be part of the 6 that don’t. Dan, Dan, Dan….oof.
English

Dan Orlovsky says he texted 12–15 GMs/decision-makers that Alabama QB Ty Simpson is the best QB in the draft, and only 2 disagreed.

@AndrewHallFF @leviremmick @jlarkytweets Are you from Cincy? My wife is. She has my kids wearing burrow jerseys to school all the time. It’s a point of contention in the relationship.

This is the big problem with the “SAVE Act” that Trump and most Republicans say needs to be passed immediately (otherwise they won’t fund TSA or negotiate with Democrats on literally anything)
A driver’s license would actually *not* be enough to vote
You’d have to present your birth certificate (many have lost theirs) and/or buy a passport (expensive) depending on marital status, middle name, etc.
In short, it’s very reasonable to be pro-voter ID yet anti-Save Act

English

@PFrickleton @leviremmick @jlarkytweets I'm not really interested in going further down this rabbit hole, but thanks for engaging I guess.
English

@AndrewHallFF @leviremmick @jlarkytweets Politicians have always had issues they use to campaign but don’t actually try to fix. I maintain, it’s riskier for them to pass it and lose than not pass it and lose. They will lose seats regardless. They could get 60 votes in the senate with a cleaner bill. So why not?
English

@AndrewHallFF @leviremmick @jlarkytweets Think about it. They pass it, lose the midterms, then the “elections are rigged” narrative dies. But get people riled up, ensure its defeat (dhs and trans add ons), lose midterms, then it’s “see, Dems cheated again!”. It serves trumps purposes more if it isn’t passed.
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN I’d take my chances on Styles being gone at 5 and Cleveland maybe wanting Tate at 6. If they want to get an OL, I’d love to trade up with them and give them an extra pick
When people are considering Lemon as worst case scenario (he’s not), that means we’re in a good spot
English

@Goatmuse77 @LanceTHESPOKEN That’s all fair. I’d love styles too. Same issue, I think he is gone by 9. Tyson without the injury history would be WR1. Elite man beater.
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN I think there’s still questions about him being a full time edge off rip due to his lack of run defense. Guys like Bain, Reese and even Styles all have the ability to play both at a high level. With guys like Downs available or one of Tyson or Lemon, idk if they draft him
English

@Goatmuse77 @LanceTHESPOKEN I'd give a toe to draft Tate. I just think we'll need to trade up for him. If he is somehow there at 9, Bain and Bailey are gone, sprint to the podium
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN So why wouldn’t the Chiefs do the exact same thing then if they don’t even have a WR as good as Nabers?
English

@StickToTheModel I just don't understand Delane to the Chiefs. We never pay CBs, we've made a living drafting and developing them in later rounds. I could see it at 29, but 9??
English

Consensus data from 90K+ drafts on STTM -
Has the Bengals boxed in by teams in front:
- Giants are consensus to land Downs
- Commanders are consensus to land Styles
- Chiefs are consensus to land Delane
which leaves the Bengals with....Peter Woods

English

@Scubstevo67 @LanceTHESPOKEN I agree. All those players are better options than Delane. This draft is quite deep at CB and S. I think we need to move heaven and earth to get a pass rusher in RD1
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN Then if you think its pointless to Draft a DB bc they wont re-sign them then take Carnel Tate WR since rashee rice wants to Keep getting into trouble or Sonny Styles the LB or Saftey Caleb Downs
English

@Goatmuse77 @LanceTHESPOKEN The "Spags guy" stuff is overrated IMO. Bailey is super productive and the Chiefs know what they have been trying in the pass rush department ain't working. Bailey brings what we need and what he could get better at, we are already good at.
English

@PFrickleton @LanceTHESPOKEN Has no bend and has a major weakness in the run game, something that Spags doesn’t bring in his system. They’d trade up for Bain if they took edge rusher at 9
