“May be he uses a matatu!!” is privilege speak….. It is grossly poor leadership messaging.

Where did this culture of pressers by religious leaders come from? Prophecy is individual and from the pulpit. This choralsade is always a non-starter word salad!

We need to upgrade from, explain to me like you would Karen Nyamu to, ask like Karen Nyamu would! I said here that cultural rituals are not anything to play with, watch the self immolation happen.

5. Lawlessness That young able bodied men at 1000hrs are high as a kite blockading a busy highway speaks of unemployment, desperation, state of families and nation. How can we speak of development when this can happen?

4. Handling of corpses I saw them load that body on the police pickup truck. What trauma do these police get exposed to in their line of duty? Do they get psychological help? Are they even prepared for this or it is in their JD? Infection control etc

On my way to Nyeri today, there was a RTA, a woman had been hit 200 metres from a footbridge at Kibirigwi. She was dead. A blockade of stones was put by locals in protest. Both roads, to and from Nyeri.

3. Inept response from police. That a body can be left on the road for hours is unthinkable and unacceptable. The trauma it imparts on the people has an effect to all who witness…

2. NTSA and policing vehicles roadworthiness. Just an eye-test observation could tell that the road that caused the accident could have had brake failures motoring down Kangocho hill. But we have predatory policing that does not make our roads safe.
