@SakuraCurcuit@Warcraft I mean yes, since they gave concrete examples. Again, this isn't an issue by the QA testers. The bugs gets reported and highlighted. There just isn't any time put into fixing those.
A Message Regarding the 12.0.5 Launch
The 12.0.5 patch launch was not up to our standards, and we know this disrupted your time and caused justified frustration.
The team has been working around the clock since launch to stabilize the game and fix the biggest issues players were hitting right away:
- See our hotfixes update here: blizz.ly/4mLyhSR
The team is taking lessons learned from this launch to help ensure this doesn't happen again. We will also work harder to communicate openly, early, and often when a launch doesn't go as expected: the known issues we're working on, fixes as they roll out, and any other information that would be useful to our community as problems are worked on and solved.
We care deeply about this game, and we play it right alongside you. We will do better.
Thanks for sticking with us,
The World of Warcraft Team
@PandaabearA@Warcraft You’re right. These issues with the game could not have been avoided, the devs are laser focused on what the actual playerbase wants. What was I thinking?
@TzunamiDK@_Reloe It's irrelevant though, you guys are thinking so incredibly small scale. They are still limited by crest. It doesn't matter if the item is 2/6 Myth or 6/6 Hero, same iLvL. You are essentially picking the lesser of two problems.
@TzunamiDK@_Reloe *This* current way gives the bugged people a small chance to get the item they actually wanted. But it also gives them a higher chance to be fucked. Or, you give it to everyone and basically guarantee people that didn't roll the item they want.
@Velravyn@Warcraft It is hard to take the post serious when they make a bold text sayin' "KNOWN BUGS" but list what they consider design flaws like the 5s Delay if you miss a CS cast or that 4-set mostly only benefit Void-Scarred.
At the very least, they are being disingenuous with the framing.
@GeeNrk@Warcraft The DH one made actual sense and that took them a whole other patch to add. There are better things to spend their development time on. Rather have new unique things than recolored eye effects.
@Warcraft Good, now tell us what went wrong, and give my DKs red green and purple eyes now. Enough of this demon hunter favoritism. Shouldn't be hard, if fucking turtle could put red eyes undead on their clanky classic client, I'm sure you can.
@Jinawan97@Warcraft Don't have to make any actual original content outside of coding spells vs. developing an entire game
Sure, very comparable.
I mean, ye. Fair to shit on Blizzard, but it's not quite comparable on any level of actual development.
@Warcraft Private servers (Ascension) makes Retail WoW patches look like child's play with the amount of unique and new things they constantly add. And surprisingly for a much smaller team, the bug fixes, the tuning, the response time for fixing if needed is light years above WoW teams.
@embersarcade@Warcraft I hope not. I just hope they will improve on their QA cycle.
I don't think it's the QA testers themselves. It's that there is no time put towards actually fixing the things they find, making it a live issue.
And clearly version control was an issue this time around as well.
@Warcraft I hope that Blizzard can extend its current patch cycle to something more reasonable. It's been obvious to anyone who's paying attention that the eight week cadence is not sustainable.
A twelve week cycle is still seven weeks faster than Final Fantasy XIV. Slow down.
@vaebae@Warcraft Fair thing to point out Microsoft, but the next expansion connection is not as related as you are thinking it is. Just seems like a weak bait.
@Warcraft nobody is buying this by the way
microsoft is making you crank out content to appease shareholders and they laid off the QA so now you're left to deal with the fallout
@Warcraft We are kinda getting into BFA/Shadowlands territory atm in terms of "We promise, we will do better." and it just didn't happen.
Prove us wrong.
@Warcraft It's a washed-up, fat-fuck loser who thinks he is still a Superman. Kinda like your game - bloated, desperately huffing its own copium, pretending it's still the GOAT while everyone else moved on years ago during Shadowlands.
@randomdude44114@TraduNaCl@patrick95_sl Weirdge take, even if you were to overexaggerate to hell and back, it wouldn't be close to 99.9%(easily proven). Vast majority of Mythic guilds don't have an alt requirements(yet alone 40), nor is any boss in the history of WoW at 800 pulls.
@TraduNaCl@patrick95_sl or maybe you should accept the fact that not everybody wants a raiding guild and is very happy that m+ exist
im glad you enjoy playing 40 chars and banging your head against bosses for 800 times
but 99,9% of the players DONT
Isn't it just horrible how M+ players get treated? All that myth loot that those pesky mythic raiders get thrown at them! SO UNFAIR!
Pictures of a priest that's progressing mythic Alleria wearing 5 myth raid drops and a DH with no mythic raid loot unrelated.
