@C0677764813281 @BASF Unfortunately, the filament has been discontinued. Kimya make one though 3dgbire.com/products/kimya…

@loyalmoses I like the Adam Savage rule. Buy the cheapest. When it breaks, buy the most expensive. Means you only buy nice tools when you use them enough to warrant it
English

@Prusa3D @josefprusa why can't I use my printables vouchers on one order? I don't want to pay shipping 3 times over. I saved them up so I can order some merchandise with some filament at the same time and not pay shipping 3 times. It's £15 a delivery to the UK!

@joeltelling @That1NetworkGuy @Barnacules If you want it to bounce I'd recommend TPC instead of TPU. It's hard to get hold of bit it makes for a very bouncy durable ball. The other one I've seen that looks like it works is PEBA.
English

@That1NetworkGuy @Barnacules @PartyLimeOG mine didn't either. at all.
the "surprised" is for the "surprised at how little it bounced"

After 15+ minutes of slicing this 12th gen airless basketball from @PartyLimeOG to print in TPU90 the total print time came out to over 4+ days & I realized that it filled the entire basketball with support material, oops! Not sure why it's doing this? 🤣 printables.com/model/829431-a…

@Chirpy277 @3DPrintGeneral Out of interest, what do you mean by fixed?
English

@3DPrintGeneral Looking beautiful so far. But for it to bounce properly, the side walls have to be fixed on the model

Don’t wanna get ahead of myself but I think I figured this out. I heard a noise right when the layer shift was about to happen.
It looks like the nozzle wiper for the left nozzle was too high up, so when it went to wipe, it would hit it and not move all the way to the left. It would then restart the next layer in its new position.
I moved the wiper down and crossing fingers that was it

My villain arc has begun

@Krommsan @BambulabGlobal I printed one in BASF TPC. It bounces really well and feels super durable
English

@BambulabGlobal Which TPU filament is this made with?
My Bambi P1S would crank that out nicely.

$2500 airless basketball is the future, for half the price you can buy a Bambu Lab flagship 3D printer to print as many airless basketballs as you want! 🤔
Marques Brownlee@MKBHD
So Wilson made a $2500 AIRLESS basketball from 3D printing techniques. It won’t be replacing a leather ball anytime soon, but honestly a pretty damn cool idea
English

@jkonman @BambulabGlobal @PiNK_3DP I beg to differ! I think the original is some kind of TPC blend. This is mine printed in TPC
English

@BambulabGlobal @PiNK_3DP Let’s be clear you CANT print the the same material that the basketball in the video is made out of on the any Bambu printer.
English

@meatloaf2002 @BambulabGlobal Check the link in my bio. Printed in TPC and it bounces great 👍
English

@BambulabGlobal Are you saying everyone can print this ball with your printers and actually use it as a basketball? Which material should be used to actually be able to use it and so it doesnt break so easily?
English

@BASF @3DPrintGeneral @UncleJessy4Real @3dprintingnerd @joemag3D check it out. It's a good bounce and seems to be lasting well
English

@BASF @3DPrintGeneral @UncleJessy4Real @3dprintingnerd It's not quite a full bounce but it's about 90% there
English

@3DPrintGeneral Looks like the extruder printing the white material re-homes itself after a few layers of being off. Seems like strange behaviour to me. Have you tried loading the code into prusaslicer gcode viewer to check its not a slicer issue?
