I love that Catholicism is REALLY old. If it’s lasted this long, it’ll probably survive the stupid, bumbling, broken discipleship of someone like me.

I love that the Catholic Church canonized the Bible.

I love Catholicism because I think Mass should be overrun with screaming babies. Churches should have more children than adults.

I love that Catholicism professes the promises of Christ.  Those who have died in faith and obedience to the Lord, are NOT DEAD. Everlasting life means everlasting.  Eternal life means eternal.   All those saints, they’re praying for us.

I love that Catholicism is very concrete. Water is water. Wine is wine.  Eating is eating. Command means *do it!* “Because I said so.” -God.

I love that the Catholic Church recognizes and moves with the physical world. Of course our creator would order the universe the to His glory. The church provides beautiful significance to the sameness and newness of every season, day, hour, breath and heartbeat. #Lent2026

I love that Catholicism is a contact sport. Incense, bells, colors, kneeling, bowing, singing, fire, ashes, seasons, hunger, fullness. “they constantly forget, that they are animals and that whatever their bodies do affects their souls” #AshWednesday

My 14 year old just gave up her phone for Lent. No coercion. No suggestion. Ad majorem Dei gloriam.
