I was skeptical about @LinkedIn, but I did what the SFL instructors said to do. I took some tips from other retirees. A recruiter found me on LinkedIn, and now I have my first job that doesn’t require a uniform. Social media presence matters whether you like it or not.

Last week, I handed over the colors and completed my tenure as the 83rd Commander of the 3d US Infantry Regiment @USArmyOldGuard. It was also my last assignment in the Army. Excited for the next steps and what lies ahead.

After two years as the Old Guard Commander, @PatrickRoddy4 gave over the reins to Colonel David Rowland. Both of the families were given a well deserved bouquet of flowers for their service. Pat and his wife Katherine are the sweetest couple of I've ever met.

@realHeathSmith @whatsupdoc82 @USArmyOldGuard We’ve learned a lot from the Canadian Ceremonial Guard and made some significant changes to how we operate following the October 22, 2014 killing of Corporal Nathan Cirillo while performing duties posted at the Canadian Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
