So. Had my first appt with the oncologist yesterday. Stage 4 metastatic cancer, incurable, average life expectancy 2-3 years. Not the news I wanted. Their hope is to do chemo before any surgery to try and shrink the tumor and best case scenario, manage this as a chronic condition. I’m crushed and sick to my stomach at the thought of leaving Jake. He would be heartbroken without me here.

Ok, so the good news is that I just had some pretty good chocolate pudding. With whipped cream. The bad news is that I have cancer. I’m a very private person so for now I’m keeping details to myself. I’d be grateful for prayers. Especially for my mom. And my Jakey ❤️
