Good question, in discussing I want TSA (screeners) to go away. Go back to the way it was, airports and airlines run the screening, with TSA taking a supervisory role, setting standards and doing oversight only.

@ShamashAran What do you propose as an alternative

@ChrisLoesch Not this time, yet, but Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq x 2 did hit that threshold in my opinion. But we never did declare war, never defined "victory", and never let our troops "win". And the media and Dems seem determined to repeat that.

Libertarians never met a war they couldn’t hate and damn the country for. Neocons never met a war they couldn’t love. The majority of the political “right” in our nation are conscious, thinking people who weigh these situations carefully based on leadership, end goals and history. These are the conservatives who understand nuance.

@txradioguy @PolitiBunny It doesn't in the constitution. It does in other laws passed by Congress starting in 1965

@ZannSuz My wife's Subaru has a display on the rear-view mirror that shows the compass direction the car's going to within 45 degrees (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW). Also, it has iOS Car Play and Android Auto so she can use a nav app on her phone.

@MadisonProj Because most legislators are lawyers, and the courts that would find judges liable are presided over by …judges.

@SumErgoMonstro @AaronWorthing @Legal_Fil Hahaha! Good point. I was mostly joking. I agree with your general assessment that if you are not old enough to drink, you shouldn't be old enough to vote, but at the same time, I can't see being old enough to die for your country without being able to vote either. :)

@DBOtherP @mallen55019 Fascists allow the legal fiction of private ownership of the means of production, so long as the owner is a loyal Party member following the Leader's orders. Commies pretend the "people" own the MoP, but it's all run by loyal Party members following the Leader's orders.

@TwisteChristian @AaronWorthing @Legal_Fil So someone at age 25 is old enough to be a Representative, at 30 a Senator, and at 35 (V)POTUS, but shouldn't be able to vote to elect those people until 40? That doesn't make sense either. Or did you have in mind a constitutional amendment raising the ages for all of them?

@SumErgoMonstro @AaronWorthing @Legal_Fil True, but still, make it 40 for all I care at this point. I have step kids that are in their 30s who I wouldn't trust to vote. Ironically, the one of the four that I would is a progressive, but her and her husband have their shit together. :)

@TwisteChristian @AaronWorthing @Legal_Fil I can see 21 for voting, because it makes no sense that you're not mature enough to decide for yourself what to drink, smoke, drugs to take, games to play, but somehow you're mature enough to vote to decide such things for all of us.

@JasonTLouis @DavidMMcintosh Yes, if you move, you need to notify the election office, because you might not live in the same districts for everything. There's no reason for you to "not have" these basic documents unless you lost them, like in a fire/burglary. Fortunately, the govt. does have them.

@SumErgoMonstro @DavidMMcintosh Eh I changed the address on my drivers license but because I didn't have my voter card, which I don't need to vote, I needed to mail the paperwork to the county. Everything is a process and if you don't have something, it's another process. Easy to do but can be time consuming.

MYTH: The SAVE America Act disenfranchises women who change their names FACT: The Act provides a process for anyone who changes their name to register to vote, including by signing an affidavit at the poll.
