Dragging a 27-year-old girl, Kunki Choudhury, into vile debates over what her parents—@SujataGurungChowdhury and Dudul da—allegedly eat is not politics. It’s a shameful display of fear and desperation. If #HimantaBiswaSarma truly believes Bijoy Gupta is a strong candidate, then why stoop to targeting a young girl’s family and identity? Because this isn’t a strength. This is the fear of being challenged. This is not leadership. This is calculated polarisation. Assam’s politics cannot be reduced to hate and personal attack. Debate work. Debate vision. Debate real issues. Stop targeting families. Stop dividing Assam. Stop this dirty politics.
