I've not made a YouTube video about this since I'm depressed and burned out, but I've basically quit game development for the foreseeable future.
It's been a great time though, and so nice to meet and interact with other tortured souls also doing this. :)

People are entitled to opinions, but if one essentially says "your game sucks but I've been playing games for ages so it's not my fault" I've got to cut myself some slack, I'm not proud of saying it, but why should *anyone* put up with a troll like that.

@spacespy_tv I get that he was being rude and you just responded in kind. But as a business, you just lost a customer for life. Not only will he never play anything you make again, but he will advocate for others to not play your games either. idk why you'd be proud of that.

@swooper_d If you get the chance to play through the Final Doom episode "The Plutonia Experiment" afterwards, that's even MORE Lost Levels-ier. And I love it for that.

Slowly making my way through Doom II on PC.
Seems to come from the Mario Bros 2 (i.e. Lost Levels) school of "Well, beat the first did ya, then try beating these levels ya prick!"
Cyberdemon in the first episode was... interesting 😅

Ok but there's a scene in Sonic Adventure 2 where Sonic is chased by a giant semi-truck through the streets of San Francisco and it clips through literally everything and is the rawest shit ever

There's a scene in The Last of Us 2 where a character just...takes a shirt off, over their head, without any clipping, and it's probably the most technically impressive thing I've ever seen in a game?? Like have you ever seen a character do this in a game before?
