Because of TSA workers not being paid, today Delta Air Lines suspended its special services it had been offering members of congress and their staff.
The canceled perks include:
Airport escorts
Personal "Red Coat" assistants.

@Brooketaylortv @DanaPerino Every flight has multiple wheel chair people that need help getting to the planes…. Every flight also has folks a little older, ie my parents, that need help getting to the planes but don’t want to appear to be “old”…Most can do it for 20-30 mins but 90, no way!

#NEW: I have now witnessed two medical emergencies today of people waiting in the long security lines. A 73-year-old man and a younger woman earlier. An ambulance just got to terminal E after a man passed out. He thought he was having a heart attack but medics believe it could be heat exhaustion. Wait time right now here is 120 minutes. Employees have been passing out water all day long.

@bennyjohnson I’d like to see Crow, Hick and Bennet stand in these type of TSA lines that I got to experience today on my SJU to DEN flight today!!! 90 mins for standard security. They need to represent all Coloradan’s instead of DC national democrat interests!!!

@WhiteHouse @SenSchumer Long lines in SJU today. Fortunately there were ICE agents helping with security! 90 mins for standard security would have been more without them. They handled the front side of security where your bags go through for Xray while the TSA agents did the rest. Thank you!!!

This Frontier flight was overbooked and with no volunteers to be bumped off the plane the airline had to decide who they would remove from the flight. They ended up choosing a solo mom flying with her two sleeping children.
Moments before she was chosen, she was asking questions about why they were delayed and how much longer it would be until take-off. Her concern and question was valid, they’ve been sitting on the tarmac on the plane for over 3 hours already.
What is being implied is that she was chosen for voicing her displeasure with the airline for their delay. It was evidenced by her friend being removed after she was. I understand planes can be overbooked but don’t you think they could have chosen a better candidate than a mother and her two sleeping children?

This woman claims she was kicked off of a Frontier flight because of her disability of being deaf. In this clip she uploaded, she can be seen conversing with the flight attendant with no issues, she’s responding to their verbal conversation. Frontier has stated that her reservation did not have any disability indications mentioned. They also clarified that she was removed from the flight for bringing an alcoholic beverage onto the flight. When confronted about the drink she decided not to give it up but to hurry up and consume it. The beverage in question was purchased at the airport and also had a warning sticker on it that stated that it cannot be brought on board a plane per federal guidelines. Everyone is now telling her to sue the airline for discrimination, however if what Frontier has stated is true, she actually broke the law with the alcoholic beverage, knowing what you know now do you feel she was kicked off for being disabled?

@EricLDaugh It is so unfair to the employees and their families. I flew CVG to FLL today. I observed many people working in airports that get paid as they should but the people protecting the airports don't get paid. Start with all congress leadership & vote them OUT!

A power outage at Denver International Airport impacted operations for a couple of hours on Wednesday morning and prompted the FAA to ground flights.
According to witness accounts from inside the airport, passengers were not allowed to board waiting planes, and power outages were impacting bathroom services.
