Free Agency should be scrapped all together. Biggest issue in competitive balance. Makes it near impossible for the bottom teams to compete. Has there been any free agents leave their team for a team lower on the ladder? Would be rare.

@PeterJCrows He has a pretty easy response to it though. Can't just build a hospital, recruit doctors and nurses, train paramedics, etc overnight. It was always going to take some time to see progress there. How far away is the new Women's and Children's hospital?

Mally will absolutely romp home, and he’s done plenty of good no doubt. But there’s also no doubt he’s flown right under the radar on ramping which was a key election issue last time. Reflects very poorly on the opposition.

I tend not to comment on court sentences as generally it’s only the judiciary that has a full understanding of the facts weighed against sentencing principles. However this is clearly an affront to community expectation, a recidivist sex offender, not even a recorded conviction

@tommorris32 If I’m on the Gold Coast I can take my wife and 2 kids to the footy, A grade reserved seats for $107. If my family was in Melbs for the Crows tomorrow night the same outing is $230. Add to that I know my smaller weekly investment in GC will see a flag. AFL guaranteed

@tommorris32 Like any business there has to be a balance between growth and retention. The AFL is and has been well and truly out of balance in favour of growth. Retention is taking a back seat and there will be a gradual impact.
