I watched 15 minutes of an eBay live and I don’t think I saw a card go for less than 5x most recent comp.
A card available BIN on eBay right NOW for $2, going for $15+, was the norm.

I asked a scout if he knew what a high school pitcher was throwing with his radar gun. Nope. Too slow (low 80s) to click. He was getting players out. That's where we are in baseball. Velocity, velocity, velocity. Who cares if pitchers get batters out with slow stuff.

@SotoC803 It’s pretty much a backed up slider. Best pitch in baseball. Pitchers throw it randomly when a slider slips out and it just spins going the other way.
Crazy part is he is still pronating just after the release. Ball is pretty much slipping and spinning out

I find it insane that if you get to 1st base on an error you get no hit, no on base credit, just an 0 for 1

@BAYCBoshi @jayhaykid Yes 6 years ago. They made a new CBA that went into effect around 2021 that increased pay.
It did cut down the amount of jobs and they cut teams but overall the minor leagues did improve and they make about 30-40k in 6-8 months of work

Had 2 friends that left MILB 6 years ago after spending 6 years deep in the minors. The horror stories of where they would stay and how little they were paid was disgusting. It was well under minimum wage. Triple A is better, mainly because you have a lot of guys that have spent time in Majors who have money and they can actually fill a stadium, but when you're in low A it's HORRIBLE.
