@femgirled US figure skating imposes a 21+ rule on all athletes regardless of which country they're in. I met someone on Team USA a few years ago and he had been in Germany, went out with some skaters from another country and they were surprised he couldn't drink there.

@JustAGamer6464 @HoegLaw They submit a planned performance beforehand and there are required elements like how many spins/jumps they have to include.
Skaters do change it up in the moment though, if they need to make up points they might throw in a harder element than they planned originally.

@HoegLaw From what I remember, it's a combination of technique choices, how it is structured as well as the accuracy in which they are executed. I would assume that the judges know beforehand, the order in which each technique is to be performed.

It's been a while since I felt hopeful about the future of UK politics.

@BanditoWritings Yep, I used to work in a small but busy live music venue. You have to be able to think on your feet, problem solve on the fly and yes, yell at people when stuff goes wrong. At the end of the night you're all sat around having a drink and a laugh.

yall are so funny because I've literally had restaurant owners talk to me like this and then buy a round of drinks for the staff once the shift is over. Just say you've never worked in a high stress fast paced environment and move on.
