The Olympic lifts really aren’t hard to teach. There are plenty of reasons not to do them, but teaching isn’t one of them
If they can front squat and hinge already
Day 1: hip high pull (HHP)
D2 complex: HHP + hip power snatch
D3 complex: HHP + HPS + no feet hang power snatch

One of the big flaws with the 40 yard dash at the combine, is that the start is done manually. A person has to trigger the start. Think about that. The difference between 4.20 and 4.60 is so small it takes longer for you to jump up & land back on your feet than that .40 diff.

I disagree. I think this is a great drill to evaluate a players hands and coordination. Running down that line is not easy. Gotta turn the head and locate the ball. You can tell if they catch it.

This will forever be one of the dumbest combine drills… attend any practice & the staff is screaming about securing the catch, ball security on YAC.. and yet we do this with no actual catch/tracking/ball security. Math ain’t mathing but NFL gets that $

The largest advantages you can give athletic departments is a S&C program that is aligned with all teams.
Not each team “doing their own thing”.
It’s literally connecting athletes from sport to sport so they make continuous progress year round. Such a low hanging fruit🙌🏻
