Omeed Malik had the idea and is a co-founder. - Shortly thereafter, Tucker's team repurchased the stake with foreign-backed capital, routed through intermediaries in the Gulf states. - Starting in March 2025, Lumen8 Advisors LLC (Tucker’s related entity) began receiving monthly payments of $180,000 from a foreign government. @LauraLoomer uncovered this from FARA filings. - These monthly payments were (or still are) routed through the Al Udeid Media Fund, a Qatari state investment entity known best for its support of anti-American propaganda and lobbying. If the above is indeed true, then it seems these monthly payments are part of a state-coordinated media laundering program, which violates a whole host of U.S. disclosure laws and FARA. Tucker has never publicly disclosed this any of this, something he would be required to do under current laws.
