NB: a Newshub-Reid poll in November 2022 shows 84.5% support for a tax-free threshold. My suggested starting bracket for one: $26k. #nzpol

@Cam49276762 @kiwiwayne2 Yes and also that journalist was an alcoholic. He didn't know the first thing about health, or even how to protect his own liver, yet there he was stalking and harassing her on "health" grounds. What a jrk he was (and probably still is).

@kiwiwayne2 Ruining peoples lives for the sake of making some money. The hatred is fully justified. These people are scum for collaborating with evil and never questioning why a clot shot was even necessary. Indoctrinated sheeple behaving badly

@kiwiwayne2 Meanwhile, NZ journo running around playing psyops "for health" had a massive drinking problem. A GP was well within law to issue exemptions for those seeking to exercise rights (BORA) to refuse medicine. She understood health, safety and rights better than that govt or media.

@NewstalkZB To be fair, they covered quite a few bases by also lifting benefits. But not lost on some that families with children under the age of 18 do better as a result of government payments and "tax credits", while those without the privilege of having children still struggle on less.

100% for tact and diplomacy: (Childless and often single people are the backbone of the economy in terms of availability for work, willingness to help out others and potential for many endeavours ... yet are often paid disproportionately less or nothing at all).

It’s good the govt is helping low and middle income earners if they have children but, why do single workers or couples without children, always miss out! Do they not know there are a working poor class 🤔

So, Hipkins cheated on his exwife, wouldn't help her buy apples for their children's school lunches, and has no ideas to offer government during a fuel crisis. While National just increased benefits for everybody. Tough choice for voters?

@plainjane130632 @NicolaWillisMP They only increased benefits by $10 a week for single childless people who struggle to find full time paid work. Yet fully employed families, privileged enough to afford children and who already receive higher govt subsidies than anybody else, are given another extra $50 a week?

@NicolaWillisMP You are so done Nicola , your party will get the 130 thousand votes from these people but its not gareenteed you could have secured a lot more if you'd actually looked after kiwis instead of the wealthy and sorted who told you not to help everyone.

We know that the conflict in the Middle East is adding pressure to hardworking New Zealanders. We are delivering temporary, timely support that is targeted to low-to-middle income working families with children. It is a $50 per week boost for eligible households (those earning up to $89,000 for a family with one child, $112,000 for a family with two children, and $135,000 with three). It's temporary support from the start of April for 12 months, or until the price of 91 drops below $3 a litre for four consecutive weeks. We cannot control global oil markets or international conflicts. And we also can’t risk repeating Covid mistakes, where too much spending more than doubled debt and pushed inflation and mortgage rates too high. Kiwis are still grappling with the effects of that today. But we can get the balance right - softening the impact on working families who cannot easily avoid higher fuel costs in a responsible and well-targeted way.

@DunJuan @kiwiwayne2 @NicolaWillisMP Minimum wage is high in New Zealand. More worried about unpaid "volunteers" being ripped off, exploited, and taken advantage of by often (paradoxically) socalled "left" leaning organisations or "community" services who don't pay them.

@kiwiwayne2 @NicolaWillisMP Yup. Bad as Ardern's "baby bonuses". Totally unnecessary extra payout for parents, who already have loads of support from both government and local communities. The homeless in my area are people without children in their care. Ones struggling most, are single and childless.

@NicolaWillisMP Nicola those are the people who least need extra support. Govt already throws masses of money at parents with children under 18 years of age, those parents actually do comparatively very well. The poor who struggle most have no children.

@clickandcollext @NZNationalParty Weren't your party the ones who supported lockdowns? Didn't party supporters rave then about how much fuel they saved, by downsizing their travel expectations? Same thing in an international fuel shortage. Only use if necessary, and don't expect govt to pay for your petrol.

@clickandcollext @NZNationalParty Stop using so much petrol then. Walk. Use public transport. Stop driving everywhere. Teach the kids to cycle. Only make necessary trips. Do you really need to drive all that way just to "visit" when a phone call or email would suffice, to stay in contact with famlly or friends?

@winstonpeters Actually "out of ideas" is a soft critique Winston. In fact Hipkins now has "no idea", he has forgotten what the party ever stood for. They lost the last election, he should have gracefully passed care of party leadership to another then. He can eat sausages without being PM.

What has Labour been doing for the last two years? Remember when they had a ‘bonfire’ of their old policies? Then, in an election year, at their ‘State of the Nation’, in front of the media, he said he was not going to announce any policy until around July. Now he says ‘we’re not in government’ so has no policies about the fuel supply issues. He just admitted to New Zealand that the Labour Party was out of ideas. That they are rudderless.

@365MickeyBlue Oh yeah, remember when Hipkins turned around and reprimanded Kiri over "standards" and her "mental health" ... after her breakup ... all the time he himself was secretly cheating on Jade, while mentally stressing out and in paranoia claiming random women threatened his office.

When Hipkins claims to hold his MPs to high standards what is his definition of these so called standards ? Was Kiri Allens running from the police just crossing the line? Is being a deadbeat dad close to teh line ? Just asking for a friend...

Why did Hipkins admit to thinking about resigning???? Why????? If he isnt a deadbeat hypocrite, why on Earth would you quit????? When faced with a lunatic, let them speak and the more they speak they will look nuts..... yet, Hipkins went to a lawyer to try and stop her ? Why ????? Maybe because she is speaking the truth and Hipkins really is an arsehole.

@stevo87446649 @NewstalkZB In both cases, vaccines became the vector for spreading the viral outbreaks. Researchers only argued about one thing, whether this happened due to negligence or deliberately as an act of war that targeted civilians.

@stevo87446649 @NewstalkZB Interesting clip. Similar to some research into the development of AIDS, traced by a group of researchers to human (lab) altered monkey viruses that infected batches of hepatitis vaccines trialed on gay men and later in Africa. Likely both viruses were developed as bioweapons.
