@JamesAsser@PostOffice New Post Office policy: no self-service, more queuing. The self-service area in Brixton PO is permanently blocked off. It's a major branch with every PO service. But you can't even drop off a parcel without queueing for counter service. The queue often goes out into the street./1

Just watched a woman leave @PostOffice branch close to tears after being shouted at over a simple question about tracked postage.
Confusion over services is normal. Humiliating customers is not.
People deserve patience, clarity and basic respect at the counter. Do better.
Imagine walking to a @PostOffice and wanting to buy an envelope because you don’t have any at home, and there are no shops nearby; to be told they don’t have any.
Not only this, but to be repeatedly met with resistant, rude and unhelpful ‘customer service’.
@PostOffice so WH Smith p/o have just over charged me. Not happy. Postage already paid for and wanted to upgrade for recorded signed for. She said I have to pay for postage again as you can’t buy separate. Which is wrong.
@MooncalfPaul Hi Paul, the rates on the board may be limited to higher value transactions. The branch should go through the available rate and the amount of exchange before you proceed with the transaction. Was this not the case?

@PostOffice very shocked with your member of staff yesterday. Suffer from very bad anxiety and your member of staff was rude and I was trying to close my Id so others couldn’t see she was more concerned with having to open the id up again
@PostOffice just tried sending this package 24hr tracked with a signature. Staff in the post office said because it’s in a special delivery envelope it’s has to be send via special delivery. I’ve never had this problem before. This is the first time.
@d_riley93 Hi Daniel, if you're using a Special Delivery envelope this should be processed as Special Delivery as you've already paid for this service.

@PostOffice one of your drivers tried to drive onto a building site and when told he couldn't be on site he started being obtuse! If they are not smart enough to know you shouldn't just drive onto a building site then they probably have a lot more issues too.

@sjt18 As mentioned Post Office Ltd do not deal with UPS. Our representatives would be unable to hand over an item that has been delivered in error, as there is no way of processing this. The item will be returned to sender, I'd recommend reaching out to the retailer or UPS directly.
