My white trash secret is I have an impulse to enter Facebook car giveaways. I was wronged once and dream of Redemption. When I was 15 in 2003 there was a zo6 Corvette in the local mall that was available to win all you have to do is fill out an entry card and slide it in the window. The contest was 2 months long and for the first few weeks I entered a few times on the weekends then one week I took several entire booklets of the entry forms and filled them out all week while separating them and folding or crinkling some to give them a different texture. The next Saturday I subbmitted a good portion of the entries and then slowly did entry dumps every weekend. Sitting at home one night and the phone rings my mom says it's for me, I won the Corvette they just need to verify my age. Because I entered my name and violated the rules of the contest my parents couldn't claim it for me I didn't get the car and the high I felt just a moment before had crashed to the lowest low. But one day I'll get it back I'll win a car and I don't care if I have to buy a Corvettes worth of shirts to do it.

The word disability is misleading I won't refute that there's rampant fraud and abuse but disability here doesn't mean what we traditionally think of when we hear disability. It's more of a compensation for condition or injury the threshold to prove the condition or injury is very low but the threshold to prove its service connected is a little higher. The real problem comes from Army and VA doctors would never give diagnosis or Nexus letters for known conditions to service connect the veteran and this opened up a market for civilian providers to sell Nexus letters giving a diagnosis and evidence to why condition is service connected. Of course once this market opened it became available to everyone and doctors began selling Nexus letters to link basically everything that happens to someone to their service.

@ThatRetiredDude Most of the people on disability in the military don't have a disability. 50% of Vets who don't see combat or leave a base are on disability. You have officers who only did office work on disability. I'm not playing this game anymore.

I don't know one man in his 40's who worked a blue collar job who doesn't have this. They get no disability. It's called getting old.
