Shall be sharing my thoughts on tech transfer to industry and society mediated by social and cultural research, and the interface between traditional knowledge systems and the technology-driven tools and insights, in the context of @icssr research ecosystem at the "Indo-German Dialogue: Future of Higher Education, Research and Tech Transfer: Opportunities and Challenges" organised by Heidelberg University in collaboration with The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, tomorrow.

Arunachal Pradesh University (APU) concluded the National Conference on Contemporary Trends in Mathematical Sciences (NCCTMS-2026) on Sunday, with over 88 papers and multiple poster presentations from institutions across India. The conference was jointly organised by the Department of Mathematics, APU, and the Department of Mathematics, Murkong Selek College, Jonai, Assam. Keynote speaker Professor Nipen Saikia, Head of Mathematics at Rajiv Gandhi University, highlighted the value of academic collaboration. The event saw nine parallel sessions, covering areas including number theory, functional analysis, differential geometry, fluid dynamics, fuzzy mathematics, neutrosophic systems, and mathematical modelling. The offline session, chaired by Prof. Saikia, included presentations on federated learning, neutrosophic differential equations, and decision-making frameworks. The conference was convened by Dr. Rinchin Drema (APU) and Drs. Adam Paksok and Bikas Das (Murkong Selek College), with Dr. Leki Chom Thungon moderating online sessions. Certificates were distributed during the valedictory session.
