@RachelHellhound (2/2) I think it was because if they knew it was possible to get stuck, they'd give up very easily, assuming it was a stuck-spot I would fix. If they didn't know, though, they'd always assume there was a way out - and oftentimes come up with a really creative solution.

@PrequelComic Oh nah, it was several years ago and an RPG. You asked people to play it so you could see how they failed, but you didnt tell them that beforehand. Just seemed kinda mean.

@RachelHellhound Oh! That didn't have anything to do with Katia/Prequel, yeah. A lot of the failure-watching was so I could smooth spots over later (e.g. add an extra potion somewhere needed). But if I told people I was watching for places they got stuck, it always made them play differently.

Also, I didn't mention it directly in the previous post, but there is a new sidestory up! It is a full-length 16-color adventure game, so you can either revisit your childhood or discover why people from my generation ended up the way we did (better).

Just to make sure I'm keeping it linked in a semi-prominent place: I'm taking preorders for some new nostalgia-themed merchandise, and also released a new sidestory called Rise of the Spider Cult. For the next week or so I'm trying to reblog every drawing of the lizard from it.

Preorders are closed! Thank you to the 400-ish people who got something. In a few days I'll probably send out an email to doublecheck sizes/addresses, then do that terrifying thing where I order hundreds of copies of something and hope it doesn't have a typo in it.

The amulets of silence had a typo on the back, but like, what do you even do once a typo has been engraved in metal 1000 times? At least it was in-world merchandise so I can say its enchanter was the one who spelled that word wrong.

@titathetitanium Nah, I'll close that the same time, maybe even a little after. I wanna be pretty forgiving with it but also do need to get the final sizes/numbers soon.

@titathetitanium Eeh I'll probably keep them open through tomorrow so I don't have to worry about time zone confusion, and then quietly fall into TF2 Overtime rules where every time there's an order I wait another hour before closing.

@PrequelComic Either I’m dumb or something, but I can’t figure out how to play the game. It seems like I could put only one word at a time but no matter what word I put the character won’t do it or can’t do it mind you I’m on the phone, should I be on a PC?
